Tips for healthy hair..

·       Use only professional products (from a salon, not a supermarket or chemist) on your hair. Shampoo, conditioner, purple shampoo, toners, dry shampoo and leave in conditioner. ANYTHING you put on your hair matters, even if it is every now and then or once. It is important!

·       Sleep on a silk pillowcase, it will stop friction. You will also wake up with smoother hair.

·       Don’t sleep with your hair tied up tightly with a band, use a scrunchie or similar if you have to wear it up.

·       Ensue if you do wear your hair up always try to change the position. As wearing it in the same spot constantly can cause weaker spots in your hair and can cause breakage.

·       Use a leave in conditioner ALWAYS! Eleven Australia’s Miracle hair treatment is my fave! Even if you don’t colour your hair or use heat you still need to be using one.

·       Using a good quality straightener and hairdryer.

·       Don’t use your heat styling straightener or curling wand over 185c, you can burn your hair. Be careful not to over use heat on your hair.

·       Don’t overuse dry shampoo or blonde shampoo, this can dry your hair out a lot.

·       Have regular trims, every 10-12 weeks! Ask your hair stylist what is recommended for you. Try to pre-book your appointment before you leave. It’s only at least four times a year!

·       Make sure you use a good detangle brush on your hair and one that is suitable for wet and dry hair.
